After one-time income/expenses, this rate was 46% and the net profit was 2 billion 154 million TL.

Evaluating the company’s first nine-month results of 2023, Brisa CEO Haluk Kürkçü said; Stating that they continued their strong activities to achieve their strategic business goals during this period, he continued: “We are increasing the capacity with an additional investment of 34 million dollars in our tire factory in Aksaray, which we established with an investment of 300 million dollars in 2018. With this investment, we plan to reach a production capacity of 4.6 million tires per year. With the special mixture technology that we will put into operation with the capacity increase, we will more quickly introduce sustainable, state-of-the-art and world-class products that are in line with developing mobility trends such as electric vehicles, and increase our power in being the mobility partner of vehicle manufacturers. At the same time, as a strong exporter company of Turkey and our sector, we are taking firm steps towards becoming a leading player in international markets. We are spreading the technology we produce in Turkey to the world with our strong exports. We currently export to nearly 90 countries. We send tires to 77 countries from our Aksaray Factory. We aim to increase this number even further with our new investment.”

In addition, Haluk Kürkçü emphasized that they signed a “sustainable development” focused loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the amount of TL equivalent to 100 million dollars and said, “We will use this loan to finance the new investment expenditure program for the 2023-2025 period. “We will make modernization and improvement investments to increase capacity through the acquisition of new machinery and equipment in our Aksaray Factory and to increase the production of fuel-saving and low-carbon emission products in our Izmit Factory,” he said.

Stating that they are leading the mobility transformation in Turkey by offering services beyond tires, Kürkçü said: “We are transforming Otopratik and Propratik quick maintenance points into Mobility Centers and expanding them. We aim to reach a total of 150 stores in 2023. We are launching our new services. We started the ‘On-Site Service’ application in Istanbul with Otopratik. At the same time, our Otopratik stores are the first rapid maintenance service chain in Turkey that offers the most widespread electric charging station service. We aim to increase this number to 70 stations by the end of 2023. In our 2030 road map, we have a target of an E-charging station in every Otopratik. On the other hand, during this period, our Otopratik brand signed a first-of-its-kind collaboration with Cenntro Turkey, which will close a huge gap in the electric vehicles industry. “Within the scope of the agreement, Otopratik points will provide delivery, after-sales maintenance and repair services for Cenntro Turkey’s electric vehicles.”

Emphasizing that Brisa has gone through a period in which it continues its social investments strongly, Kürkçü said, “We have continued to work since the first day to support the revival of economic and social life in the earthquake region. Within the scope of Sabancı Republic Mobilization, we have undertaken another meaningful project that will lead the local development of the earthquake region. On the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we opened the Sabancı Hatay Incubation Center in cooperation with the Habitat Association and with the contributions of Kordsa, Teknosa and Temsa, which are Sabancı Group companies. “Thanks to this center, we aim to support local development and the re-participation of young people and women in economic and social life.” said.
