Attention UTTS Application Extended Until the End of June…

The Revenue Administration (GİB) announced that the processes regarding the National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) application were extended to June 2 for fuel stations and June 30 for vehicle owners in order to complete the processes.

According to the statement made by the Presidency, it was reminded that the UTTS application was developed in order to ensure that the license plate information in fuel sales made at fuel stations is automatically sent to the new generation fuel pump payment recorder devices without being entered manually, and that the regulations regarding the subject were determined by the General Communiqué published in the Official Gazette dated October 5, 2023.
Accordingly, the system had to be started to be used as of May 1 for the vehicles acquired by taxpayers through rental or included in the business and used in business.
Within this scope, it was required that the Vehicle Identification Unit (TTB) be installed on the vehicles in question, the Vehicle Identification Reader Device (TTO) be installed on the pump nozzles at fuel stations, and the Gun Communication Module (TIM) that provides communication between TTB, TTO and new generation payment recording devices at the stations, and that they be put into use by April 30, provided that the necessary application and registration procedures are completed through the “utts.gov.tr” website by January 31.

According to the statement, significant progress has been made in the studies carried out regarding the UTTS application, both in the TTO and TIM at fuel stations and in the installation of TTBs on vehicles, and a significant part of the procedures to be carried out have been completed.

However, considering that the application is new and there are a small number of taxpayers who have not completed their procedures, additional time has been given to taxpayers to complete their incomplete procedures.
Accordingly, the deadline for applications and registrations to be made through the “utts.gov.tr” website until January 31 regarding TTO, TTB and other equipment has been extended to June 2.
In addition, the April 30 date determined for the procedures such as assembly and usage to be made for TTO, TİM and TTB has been extended to June 2 for procedures related to taxpayers operating fuel stations (installation/assembly and usage) and to June 30 for procedures related to vehicle owners (installation/assembly and usage).

In this context, taxpayers operating fuel stations must complete the necessary registration and application procedures by June 2, have TTO and TİMs installed at their stations, have these equipment communicated with new generation payment recorders and start selling fuel through UTTS. Taxpayers must complete the necessary registration and application procedures for their vehicles that they have acquired through rental or that are included in their businesses and used for work by June 2nd and start using them by having TTB installed on their vehicles by June 30th at the latest.”
