The “Heavy Vehicle and Trailer Summit,” organized in collaboration between the Trailer Manufacturers Association and the Heavy Commercial Vehicles Association , will bring the sector together for the 8th time.
The Summit, themed “The New Journey of Trailers in the Light of Digitalization and Autonomous Technologies,” will be held on May 8, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Asia (Istanbul-Pendik).
The countdown has begun for the year’s biggest gathering, bringing together all stakeholders in the sector. The Heavy Vehicle and Trailer Summit, organized in cooperation with TREDER and TAİD, will shed light on the future of the sector. This platform, bringing together public authorities, sector leaders, international experts, and representatives from the main industry, will discuss regulations, trends, and technologies that will shape the future of the heavy vehicle world.

TREDER President Seyit Arslan stated that the sector maintains its competitive strength in the international market despite current geographical and economic disadvantages. Arslan emphasized that regulations and next-generation technologies that will shape the future of the sector will be discussed at the upcoming Summit. Beyond current market dynamics, President Arslan also drew attention to the transformation awaiting the sector, stating that new regulations, global trends, and technological developments are at the top of the manufacturers’ agenda. Expressing that the upcoming Summit, which will bring together sector stakeholders, will be a critical platform for adapting to this transformation, Arslan continued: “Regulations, trends, and technologies that will shape the future of the market in which our sector operates are also on our table. We have a very important Summit where we can discuss all these from a broad perspective and gain different viewpoints. A visionary Summit awaits us where we will talk about a future that is not so far away, such as digitalization and autonomous technologies, and learn new things.”
